After importing information into my site, I am the only one who can see it.
When you enter information in your site, you can make it either group or personal. Group data is viewable by any member of your site; personal data is viewable by you only. By default, when you import, export, or synchronize, information is added to your site as personal. You can change this setting if you like.
To make information you synchronize visible to all members of your site:
On your computer desktop, click Start > Programs > WebEx > Intellisync for WebEx to launch the sync client software.
Enter your login information, if required.
Click Configure... in the Configuration section of the window.
Click the checkbox to highlight applications you want to synchronize.
Click Configure in the lower-right section of your window, and select Advanced Settings. The Advanced Settings window appears.
Click Field Mapping.
(Click OK at any dialogues that
appear.)
The web office fields are listed at the left. The Outlook or Palm mappings
appear at the right. The arrows signify that the two fields map to each
other.

To map the "Personal" field in your web office with the "Private" field in Outlook or Palm, find the "Private" field near the bottom of the Outlook/Palm list at the right. Using your mouse, drag it up so that it's across from the "Personal" field in the left-hand list.
Click OK.
Continue synchronizing as usual.
When logging in to Intellisync, I received an error that says, "Proxy authentication required."
Proxy servers, also known as firewalls, regulate information coming in and going out of your network. Because sync transfers information through your network, you must configure Intellisync for your particular Proxy Server.
To configure your proxy server:
On your computer desktop, click Start > Programs > WebEx > Intellisync for WebEx to launch the sync client software.
Click Edit Login Information, and then click Proxy Server.
Click the Use Proxy Server checkbox.
Enter the Server name and Port number. The port number is frequently 80 but if you don't know this information, ask your network administrator.
Click OK.
What's the difference between import, export, and synchronize?
In addition to synchronizing, you can also perform one-way imports and exports between your web office and Outlook or Palm.
Import copies data from Outlook or Palm into your site.
Export copies data from your site into Outlook or Palm.
Synchronize compares the data in your site to the data in Outlook and Palm, and then makes any necessary changes to both systems to make sure that they both contain the same data.
Can I avoid synchronizing events that happened in the past?
Yes. When you sync your Calendar events, you have the option of including all events, future events only, or events within a certain date range only. By default, you synchronize future events only. To change this setting:
On your computer desktop, click Start > Programs > WebEx > Intellisync for WebEx to launch the sync client software.
Enter your login information, if required.
Click Configure… in the Configuration section of your window.
Click the checkbox to highlight the Calendar application.
Click Configure in the lower right section of your window, and select Advanced Settings from the dropdown. The Advanced Settings for Calendar window appears.
In the Date Range tab, select the Transfer only Future items radio button, or Transfer items within a range of Days.
Click OK.
Click OK again.
Click Start.
The events I synchronized appear to be in the wrong time zone.
Adjust each device to the same time zone and sync again. You can re-adjust the time zone setting after you finish the synchronization. When you import a 1:00 p.m. event from your Palm, for example, it appears at 1:00 p.m. on your site, regardless of any time zone differences between Palm and your site. Learn how to change the time zone in your site.
Can I synchronize recurring events?
Yes, you can now synchronize virtually any type of recurring event. A recurring event is one that occurs at some regular interval-for example, daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. You can also synchronize events that recur every other week, bi-monthly, every third month, and so on.
What limitations are there when synchronizing events that have participants?
Read about the limitations in detail.
During synchronization, I see an error message that says, "You cannot transfer this much data at one time. Please select a smaller amount of data and synchronize again."
You are attempting to synchronize too much data at once. Try one of the following to break the data into smaller amounts:
If you're using Microsoft Outlook, move some of your data into a new folder and synchronize with just the data in that folder.
If you're synchronizing Calendar events, choose a limited date range of events to synchronize.
Recurring events that span more than one day do not appear correctly in Outlook or Palm after I export them from my site.
We are working to address this limitation. As a temporary solution, edit the event in your site so that it is either (a) just a recurring event, or (b) just a multi-day event, and try syncing again.
